Obviously Recruiter coz you are adding more value in terms of identifying right talents for the biz. But as a co-ordinator you are just co-ordinating stuff & in near future most of the co-ordination things will get automated.

As per my opinion , both roles are have their own importants in hiring process. because recruiters focus their efforts on the actual interview process, recruitment coordinators. Recruiting coordinator responsibilities entail everything from posting open positions to job boards, scheduling interviews across departments, offer releasing , conducting background checks, in the hiring process. The job of a coordinator starts when candidates respond to a job opening and ends when the organisation fills the position.

In my opinion, there is no comparison in two roles and it is solely depends upon your interest and career choice. These are 2 different career paths and your success depends on the ability to adopt the change and excel in the work with the knowledge of tools and techniques. Although there is a possibility of automation in the recruitment process and role to be redundant, still there are ways in which you will add value to a recruiting function as a co-ordinator. Try to imagine co-ordinator role beyond scheduling and you will see great potential in the areas like reporting, recruiting data analytics, dashboards, etc.
